Lakshmi - Indonesian art Every DivaIi, I remind myself that, while Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth, money is only a means; beauty is a greater pursuit, and my journey must be a search for deeper meanings of beauty, within and without. Last year, I wrote an essay on wealth for Open magazine. I had intended to riff on that for this Diwali weekend, but festivities took over, and it is only mildly edited. Apologies for the sloth, but I will return to this topic, soon.
Just enjoyed reading your panorama spreading from Urban to Rural. Inspired by the way you have shaped your destiny and intermingled it with the destiny of others you love and care for! May you continue spreading joy and sunshine ..
Sir, This was 'THE' most heart touching read, I ever laid my eyes upon. It moved something in my subcautious (I can't really comprehend) which tells me to have a re-look on how we are treating our precious lives. Time for introspection and some course correction to ensure that once it is time to look back, there is no such regret that I could not live in a way I wanted, even when my mentor(you) wrote it on the wall for me. Many thanks and indeed grateful.
You are definitely blessed to have chosen a path less travelled and to have made such a treasure of memories going down that path . It takes immense courage and conviction to do so . You are living my dream !!
Thank you sir for sharing this piece with us.
Its not easy to share these emotional moments of our life with others.
Thank you very much
Happy Diwali Mohit!

Every time I read of your life in the foothills, I am hit with pangs of Jealousy. Any idea how I fix this ?
